SECTION 1
INTERNATIONAL
Something (company, language or organization)
international mostly means that it involves
more than one nation (country).
The term international as a word means involvement
of, interaction between or encompassing more than
one nation, or generally reaching beyond national
boundaries. For example, international law, which
is applied by more than one country over the world,
and international language which is a language
spoken by residents of more than one country.
In American English, "International" is also commonly
used as a euphemism for "foreign" or even "foreigner.

SECTION 2
COMMUNITY
In biological terms, a community is a group
of interacting species sharing an environment.
In human communities:
intent,
belief,
resources,
preferences,
needs,
risks,
and a number of other conditions may be
present and common, affecting the identity
of the participants and their degree of
cohesiveness.
In sociology, the concept of community has
led to significant debate, and sociologists
are yet to reach agreement on a definition
of the term.

SECTION 3
WORLD
COMMUNITY
The term is used primarily in political
and humanitarian contexts to describe
an international aggregate of nation
states of widely varying types.
In most connotations, the term is used to
convey meanings attached to consensus or
inclusion of all people in all lands and
their governments.

SECTION 4
HUMANITARIANISM
In terms of human needs, humanitarian aid,
human rights, and other discourse in the
humanities, the world community is akin
to the conceptual Global village aimed at
the inclusion of non-aligned countries,
aboriginal peoples, the Third World into
the connected world via the communications
infrastructure or at least representative
ties to it.

SECTION 5
ECONOMICS
In terms of the Global economy, the world
community is seen by some economists as an
inter-dependent system of goods and services
with semi-permeable boundaries and flexible
sets of import/export rules.
Proponents of Globalization may tend to
establish or impose more rigidity to this
framework. Controversy has arisen as to
whether this paradigm will strengthen or
weaken the world as a community.

SECTION 6
ECOLOGY
When considering Sustainable development
and Ecology, the inter-dependence angle
generally expands quickly to a Global
context. In this paradigm, the planet
as a whole represents a single Biome
and the World's population represents
the Ecological succession in a singular
eco-system. This also can be recognized
as the World Community.

SECTION 7
WORLD
PEACE
The term world community is often used in
the context of establishing and maintaining
world peace through a peace process or through
a resolvable end to local-regional wars and
global-world wars.
Many social movements and much political
theory deals with issues revolving around
the institutionalization of the process of
propagating the ideal of a world community.
A world community is one which has a global
vision, is established throughout the world,
that is it has a membership that exists in
most of the countries on the planet and that
involves the participation of its members in
a variety of ways.

SECTION 8A
PHILOSOPHY
The official slogan of The Woodcraft Folk
is Span the world with friendship, it also
uses "Education for Social Change" in its
publicity and also constitutional documents.
Woodcraft is not based upon any particular
religious belief or national identity. The
core values are that irrespective of social
background, status or age all members have
an equal say in the decision making process.
The organisation welcomes all young people
whether they have a religious background or
none and much of its work emphasises the
importance of international understanding
and fellowship.
The principles of peace and co-operation
are therefore central to everything they
do and they endeavour to develop members
to have an understanding of some of the
issues behind global poverty and conflict
in the belief in fashioning a new, better
world.

SECTION 10
GLOBALIZATION
Globalization (or globalisation) describes
the process by which regional economies,
societies, and cultures have become
integrated through a global network of
political ideas through communication,
transportation, and trade.
The term is most closely associated with
the term economic globalization: the
integration of national economies into
the international economy through trade,
foreign direct investment, capital flows,
migration, the spread of technology, and
military presence.
However, globalization is usually recognized
as being driven by a combination of;
economic,
technological,
sociocultural,
political,
biological factors.
The term can also refer to the transnational
circulation of ideas, languages, or popular
culture through acculturation. An aspect of
the world which has gone through the process
can be said to be globalized.

CORPORATION
MCC
MCC forms partnerships with some of the
world’s poorest countries, but only those
committed to:
good governance,
economic freedom,
investments in
their citizens.
MCC provides these well-performing countries with
large-scale grants to fund country-led solutions
for reducing poverty through sustainable economic
growth.
MCC grants complement other U.S. and international
development programs. There are two primary types
of MCC grants:
compacts
threshold programs.
What is MCC achieving?
MCC has approved over $7.4 billion in compact
and threshold programs worldwide that support
country-determined projects in such sectors as:
agriculture and irrigation,
transportation
(roads, bridges, ports),
water supply and sanitation,
access to health,
finance and enterprise
development,
anticorruption initiatives,
land rights and access,
access to education.
The aggressive implementation of compacts
and threshold programs is promoting growth
opportunities, opening markets, raising the
standard of living, and creating a more
prosperous future for some of the world’s
poorest people.
